Terrence Robinson is the Green Party challenger to incumbent Byron W. Brown in next month’s general election for mayor.
Robinson laid out his five-point agenda for his long shot chances of becoming the next mayor. Brown won the primary election last month, which essentially put him on the road to his fourth term.
Still, Robinson says he’s in the race til the end. His campaign includes five points:
- Good governance
“It’s not rocket science. Just do the right thing the right way, and things will work out,” Robinson said.
- Environmental awareness
“And wise stewardship of the environment both built and natural environments,” he said.
- Fair access and opportunities for employment, education and the distribution of public benefits “like investment dollars and where those go.”
- Healthy neighborhoods
“Making them good places to work, live and play,” Robinson said.
- Fair redistricting
“We need that in order to return some measure of political power to the people,” he said.
